Also, I am endlessly fascinated (and a bit disgusted) by the commemoration of Lee-Jackson Day in Virginia. If the suggestion that there is some level of equivalency between Robert E. Lee and Martin Luther King, Jr. makes you physically nauseous, then this holiday is not for you:
